INTRODUCTION

UKBC has extensive experience in writing biology competitions for all ages of secondary school students. Each year, they deliver three high quality competitions for over 60,000 students and bring these competitions to as many students as possible.

The British Biology Olympiad was created in 1995, to stimulate students with an interest in Biology to expand and extend their talents. It is one of the largest science competitions in the UK with more than 10,000 high school students participating every year. It enables students to demonstrate their knowledge and to be suitably rewarded and publicly recognized through medals, certificates and other prizes.

  • Bronze: 200.50
  • Highly Commended: 192.67
  • Commended: 185.00

For judging the global awards, British competitors will be firstly ranked by their overall scores, creating boundaries for the gold, silver, bronze, highly commended and commended awards. International participants will be awarded based on the UK thresholds.

The St Catharine’ s College, Cambridge Biology Camp,officially hosted by StCatharine’ s College, University of Cambridge. The exclusive programs provide an unparalleled opportunity to deepen your understanding of biology, engage with world-class instructors, and connect with like-minded peers.

Under the guidance of Cambridge professors, students will participate in university-level biological lectures and experimental operations, gaining early insight into undergraduate biological studies.
