ASEAN Youth Camp (AYC) 2026 – Officially Opens at Shanghai Jiao Tong University

The ASEAN Youth Camp (AYC) 2026 has officially commenced at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), marking the beginning of a 10-day academic and cultural journey for the Vietnamese delegation at one of Asia’s leading universities.

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of SJTU, Sooncheng Singapore, and international participants from various countries. The event marked the start of a unique learning experience designed to foster academic growth, global perspectives, and cross-cultural connections.

Representing the Vietnamese delegation, Mr. Hoang Le Hai Dang, a student from Hanoi – Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, delivered a speech during the ceremony. He expressed his excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the program and looked forward to engaging with professors, experts, and fellow students from around the world.

During the days at SJTU, students had academic classes and lectures delivered by SJTU faculty members; joined technology workshops and innovation-focused learning experiences; and took part in activities designed to develop global perspectives, critical thinking, and leadership skills.

Throughout the program, participants will explore new ideas, expand their international outlook, and gain valuable insights into emerging technologies and global trends.

Through AYC 2026, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Sooncheng Singapore aim to provide students with meaningful international learning experiences that inspire confidence, curiosity, and a readiness to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
