Road to IEO 2026: Team Vietnam Officially Announced for the International Economics Olympiad Final Round
The journey to one of the world’s most prestigious economics competitions officially begins as Team Vietnam prepares to represent the nation at the International Economics Olympiad (IEO) 2026. Following an outstanding selection process, five exceptional students have been officially announced as Vietnam’s national representatives for the Final Round, which will take place in Greece from 10–14 August 2026.
Organised by the International Olympic Academy, the International Economics Olympiad is a globally recognised academic competition that brings together talented high school students from around the world to demonstrate their knowledge and analytical abilities in economics, finance, and business. Beyond testing academic excellence, IEO provides a platform for young leaders to exchange ideas, broaden their global perspectives, and develop practical problem-solving skills through challenging international-level assessments.
As Team Vietnam enters the final preparation phase, the students will undergo intensive training to further strengthen their understanding of economics, finance, and public policy while sharpening their critical thinking, teamwork, and analytical capabilities. Through this journey, they will not only compete alongside some of the world’s brightest young economists but also proudly showcase the talent, resilience, and academic excellence of Vietnamese students on the international stage.
Representing Vietnam at IEO is a remarkable achievement and a testament to each student’s dedication, perseverance, and passion for economics.
